I bought a 500GB mybook about a year ago. I have 3 mybooks 2 500GB and 1TB). So far, one of the 500GB drives has developed a fault and I cannot access anymore. I have also 4 Buffalo 1TB drives which are FAR FAR superior in data transfer and reliablity.
