I'm surprised just how slow this is, based on the high ratings on amazon I had expected a much better device. This is ridiculously slow. transferring files I get speeds of 8mbs - Copying a few dozen gb took 10 hours!!Get more detail about Western Digital Elements 1TB USB 2.0 External Hard Drive - Black.
