Despite other reviewers comments the installation of this hard drive was not plain sailing. It would not accept files above 4GB which is a bit odd as it is a 1TB drive and therefore aimed at users who need to store / archive files of a sinificant size. Yes, this was a relatively simple problem to sort - once I'd found the solution on the Western Digital website. I can now happily drag and drop files of any size onto the Western.
One other thing I thought was strange - the power / activity indicator light is at the back of the drive?
