I bought this item due to running out of room on my laptops hard drive, but also to back up important things such as photos etc.
The product has worked great. It is plug and play as it states, so no need to be a computer wiz to get it up and running.
The size is good, roughly about the same size as a hardcover novel, so doesn't take up heaps of room.
It runs very quietly too.
Occasionally when transfering larger files it can be a tad slow, but at this price I was hardly expecting blistering fast speeds.
