I have 2 of these - perfect for storing films and anything else. I use Microsoft SyncToy (free, easy to use) to keep up to date copies of my main hard disks - use the Control Panel Scheduler function to run SyncToy as it doesn't have its own scheduler. I also have all my peripherals powered via an E.ON Powerdown socket, so these hard drives don't have to run all the time - hopefully extending their life.
