The first one I was sent didn't work - you could hear the disk skipping, and it said the disk wasn't formatted, which isn't right (they shouldn't need formatting) - which was a pain, but Amazon shipped a replacement out straight away, which worked fine, and they refunded the postage.
It's quiet, solid/well made, and quite unobtrusive. I would have given it five stars if it wasn't for the first one not working. Get more detail about Western Digital Elements 1TB USB 2.0 External Hard Drive - Black.
